"Little Green Thing" – Gillygaloo's

Gillygaloo is pleased to present its debut album,
Little Green Thing. It's a virtual folk festival in
a jewel box, chockfull of grownup-friendly acoustic
roots music for kids that really rocks!
Here you'll find a rich musical gumbo of fun songs
and dance tunes from various folk traditions, as well
as roots-inspired original material. Gillygaloo and
friends serve it up, hot and tasty, on a variety of
acoustic instruments: fiddle, guitar, squeezebox, banjo,
mandolin, ukulele, dulcimer, cuatro, harmonica, dumbec
drum, guiro and more!

VICKI "PASHA" BELL – vocals (9).
Hipbone
Recording's own "Mistress of the Mixing Board,"
Vicki served as the most excellent recording engineer
for this project. In addition to being a superb audio
technician, Vicki is a gifted singer and dancer who has
performed on Broadway as well as in shows and clubs here
and abroad. She and her husband/partner, Ray Grappone,
created Hipbone Recording as a label to produce and issue

WENDY GELSANLITER – vocals (6, 8, 12, 14). Wendy
is a highly-acclaimed singer/songwriter as well
as a noted children's music performer and teacher. A fine
recording artist/ producer in her own right, Wendy has
recorded and released two excellent albums of original
songs for children, Dancin' In The Kitchen and
Ants Wear
Underpants (a Parent's Choice Award winner) on her own
label, BizzyBum Productions. For more information, you

RAY GRAPPONE – guiro (1, 10), dumbec drum (7, 16),
tambourine (7), drums (13, 14), vocals (4). Hipbone
Recording's Studio Manager, Ray is a master professional
drummer and percussionist. Since the early '80s, Ray has
performed on Broadway, in theater pit orchestras and on
stage, and has toured the world with major shows. Most
recently, he was the percussionist for the critically-acclaimed
Broadway revival of The Flower Drum Song.

PETER "TRIP" HENDERSON – harmonicas (4,
15). The Big Apple's "Merry Monarch of the Mouth
Harp," Trip is a much in-demand master of the harmonica.
He has shared the stage with many major artists, such
as: Bo Diddley, B.B. King, Honey Boy Edwards,
Otis Rush,
John Herald, Hazel Dickens, John Sebastian and "The
Boss" himself, Bruce Springsteen, to name but a few.
In 2001, Trip had the rare honor of performing "Amazing
Grace" on the stage of Radio City Music Hall in a
historic duet with the world's largest Wurlitzer Organ
to open the film premier of "The Face: 2000 Years
of Jesus in Art." He's bandmates with Shlomo and
Bob in The Sufferin' Succotash String Band,
a renowned NYC old-time country & blues group.
